Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) won an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. It reached the number 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. He then became part of Ozuna on his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel as well as his Dopamina album in the same year. Then, in 2021 He sang a duet 2021 along with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. The year 2023 came around and the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo is a product of a musical household his mother and older brother are both musicians. In interviews he has described participating in music as compulsory. In his early years, he learned to play the saxophone and ukulele and piano. Although he initially wanted to be veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban music teacher could change his direction in life.
