Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is an Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Her work has been in the margins of traditional and popular music since she was a teenager, she is also involved in other styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. Pepe Habichuela has said that her vocals as sweet, sharp but also possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer gained her fame and critical acclaim when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. It earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. In 2021, the single La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami the third album by her, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. It was released in 2022 because of an appearance on Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish singer who performed as a solo performer on the show. Motomami's Rosalia, who won the Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
